William Brown is in the sole foundation and leadership of his gang, the outlaws who usually hide out in a old barn. His arch enemy\nemesis is Hubert Lane, whose friends are referred to as 'The Laneites'
William, though sometimes kind hearted, will scowl about almost anything if he doesn't like it. He tends to speak with a Londoner's vocabulary; example: 'if 'e gets us, 'e'll give us a jolly good swabbin' '.
